Graduate Physiotherapists
Finding the right graduate position can be the difference between having a job after University, and having a job after University that you love! Your first year out of Uni is critical to your development as a Physiotherapist. Your choice of employer will directly impact the level of satisfaction you can hope for as you come to terms with the leap from study to practice.
Here at GCP, we have many years of experience with employing recent graduates, and our first year program is well known and received. We have several staff on board who completed our graduate program in previous years and are still with us today, continuing along on the GCP Career Pathway.

Good Country Physiotherapy provides graduates with exposure to:
Outpatient musculoskeletal and sports injuries (private and public)
Residential aged care
Acute hospital (inpatients)
Community outpatients (including at the clinic and home visits)
Sporting team coverage
Paediatrics
Women’s health/Pelvic health
Hydrotherapy classes
Mat and/or equipment-based Pilates classes
Falls and balance classes
Functional rehabilitation classes
GLA:D program for OA hips and knees
We support our graduates with:
Regular meetings with an experienced physiotherapist
A weekly new graduate in-service program
Monthly all-staff in-service practicals
Regular caseload reviews to ensure you are not feeling overwhelmed
Opportunities to shadow an experienced physiotherapist for learning and development
Paid Level 1 Clinical Pilates Course
Paid GLA:D Certification Course
$1000 CPD budget on top of up to $10,000 grant from RDWA
