Late Cancellations/Missed Appointments Policy //

Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our patients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our staff, but our other patients as well.  Please be aware of our policy regarding late cancellations and missed appointments, detailed below.

Appointment Cancellation

When you book an appointment with us, you are holding space in our calendar that is no longer available to other patients.  To be respectful of our other patients, please call us as soon as you know you can no longer attend your scheduled appointment.  If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 24 hours ahead of your appointment.  Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.

How to Cancel your appointment

If you need to cancel your appointment, please call any of our clinics:

Bordertown | 8752 2330

Naracoorte | 8762 1515

Keith | 8755 1530

Kingston | 8767 4600

Millicent | 8762 1515

If necessary, please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we can.

If you have an online bookings account with us, you can also cancel or reschedule your appointment there, providing it is more than 24 hours ahead of time (after that, you will need to ring one of our clinics).

Late Cancellation/Missed Appointment

A cancellation is considered late when it is within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time.  A missed appointment is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling.  In either case, we will charge the patient the full amount of the value of the missed appointment.  If there are extenuating circumstances, or it is the first occurrence, the cancellation fee may be waived, at our discretion.
