Angela Willsmore

Angela Willsmore (nee Dunsford) graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours from the University of South Australia in 2003. She opened her first physiotherapy practice, known as Angela Dunsford Physiotherapy, in Naracoorte and Bordertown in 2004.  This became Good Country Physiotherapy in 2006, and she has overseen steady growth in the business over the last 22 years.

Angela has post-graduate qualifications in Sports Physiotherapy, Strength & Conditioning, Clinical Pilates, Dry Needling (acupuncture), and Scar Massage. She is a Certified PINC and STEEL Cancer Rehab Physiotherapist, providing vital rehab services to cancer patients throughout the Limestone Coast.  She is also a Certified GLA:D physiotherapist for patients with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee and hip and GLA:D back physiotherapist for patients with non-specific low back pain.  She is a Credentialled McKenzie Therapist, specialising in the self-management of back and neck pain. In 2010, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Management and a Masters in Sport, Exercise and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (dux) at the University of South Australia.

In 2025, she commenced her training to become a Specialist Sport & Exercise Physiotherapist with the Australian College of Physiotherapy, a rigorous two-year program to achieve the highest level of clinical qualification in Australia.

She has worked in high level sport at local, state, national and international level.  In 2012, she achieved her career dream, working as a physiotherapist at the London 2012 Olympic Games. She has also been the head physiotherapist for the SA under 18 AFL team and worked with elite rugby, cricket and AFL teams. She is passionate about helping athletes of all abilities to achieve their goals.

She works for the Adelaide University Department of Rural Health as a Physiotherapy Academic, supporting physiotherapy students with rural placement opportunities.

She consults from our Naracoorte and Kingston clinics.
