Pregnancy and Post-natal Pilates //
Strengthen your abdominal, hip and pelvic floor muscles to help your body adapt to the postural changes during and after pregnancy
This low impact Pilates class is specifically designed for pregnant women and new mums.
The class concentrates on exercises to strengthen the abdominal, hip and pelvic floor muscles during pregnancy and after childbirth.
The classes help your body adapt to the postural changes during pregnancy and to regain tone and fitness after pregnancy.
The class is a small group class so exercises can be adapted to suit your individual needs.
The classes can be attended from 12 weeks of pregnancy. We advise that you discuss the classes with your GP, Obstetrician or Midwife before attending.
Women can attend post-natally from 6 weeks depending on their mode of delivery.
A one on one session with a Women's Health physiotherapist is required before attending.

Classes are available in both Naracoorte and Bordertown, depending on demand and physiotherapist availability.
Cost $20 per class
Classes claimable on private health insurance and participants are welcome to bring their babies to all the sessions.
Own exercise mat, chi ball and theraband encouraged, but not essential.
