Pregnancy and Post-Natal Exercise

Strengthen your abdominal, hip and pelvic floor muscles to help your body adapt to the postural changes during and after pregnancy

Pregnancy and Post-Natal Exercise

This low impact Pilates and Physiotherapy-based class is specifically designed for pregnant women and new mums.

The class concentrates on exercises to strengthen the abdominal, hip and pelvic floor muscles during pregnancy and after childbirth.  They help your body adapt to the postural changes during pregnancy and to regain tone and fitness after pregnancy.

The class is a small group class so exercises can be adapted to suit your individual needs and can be attended from 12 weeks of pregnancy.  We advise that you discuss the classes with your GP, Obstetrician or Midwife before attending.

Women can attend post-natally from 6 weeks depending on their mode of delivery.

A one on one session with a Women's Health physiotherapist is required before attending.
