Cate Forrest Joins the Team

13-Feb-2012

After a year away from Keith in 2011, travelling with my family, I am now enjoying settling back into “regular” life in our community. What a great community we have, filled with all sorts of identities, opportunities and experiences.

I have taken up a great opportunity to work at Good Country Physiotherapy, as a Receptionist at the Keith Clinic. I am enjoying getting to know the friendly staff team and the excellent services the practice provides to the community. In my new position I am encountering  lots of new learning experiences and challenges, and one of my aims at work is to make the client’s visit to the clinic a positive experience and for their day to “shine  a little brighter” than before they came.

Family is one of my life’s priorities and this position provides me with flexibility and a good work-life balance to enjoy my family time. I have several important roles within my family – wife to Jon, mother to Jed and Lily, who are 14 and 12 and attend Keith Area School, and to Daniel and Jake who now live independently, mother-in-law to Nicole and “Narnie” of my two precious granddaughters – Isabelle and Mia.

Many of you in the district may know me from my involvement with:

  • Keith Area School, as past student/parent/ Governing Council member/OSHC Coordinator
  • Keith Uniting Church
  • Community sporting groups netball and football, swimming
  • Or, previous employment at the Keith office of Tatiara District Council, the Keith Kindy or the Keith Hospital

I look forward to seeing you if you come in to the Keith Clinic of Good Country Physio, and I am anticipating some great, fun times, some challenges, but most of all lots of fulfilling and rewarding times as a member of the Staff Team at GCP.
